Truth is bitter, but must be said...

Somebody is probably annoyed with us, because we reveal his unjust “deeds”. Despite the fact that the situation becomes worse for him, he does not quit, but he insists on threating us and all the people who courageously declared the continuous waste of the financial resources of a relatively small and poor sport federation for the interest of its “fraud” president.

We can present the facts from the beginning:

On December 1st, 2009, “Olympic Property”, licensed the wrestling indoor sports hall at Ano Liossia, to H.I.S.F., because the last one wanted the Ice Hockey World Championships, Division 3, group A (April 2010) and the National Ice Hockey and Ice Skating Championships to be held there. However, the president of the federation, who wanted to pursue his own interest, was trying till the first days of December 2009 to find a place to host an ice rink for his own private company (Ice Skating Centre Athens S.A.). The equipment that was given to H.I.S.F. by the Peace and Friendship Stadium was kept in containers at Ano Liossia. (Ano Liossia ice rink was in operation only from May till June 2009, so that the International Hockey Federation and especially mr Solit could see that Greece has an ice rink. Mr. Solit was informed about this lie, but this did not help Greece at all).

But the works started on 05.12.2009 at Tauros and not on 01.12.2009 at Ano Liossia. But the private company did not have any ice rink equipment. Mr. Chatziathanassiou did not inform the H.I.S.F. board that he has sent the equipment of the Peace and Friendship Stadium and H.I.S.F.'s from Ano Liossia to Tavros.

In the meantime he was telling lies to the athletes of ice hockey, the board members of H.I.S.F., the state and the members of the Organizing Committee of the World Championship that he was going to buy new equipments. In case the president did not want to pursue his own interest, he could have used the equipment from the Peace and Friendship Stadium at Ano Liossia so that the pre-national teams could start getting prepared and the National Championships to be held. As soon as the new bars were to be arrived, he could melt the existing rink and construct a new one in order to place the new bars. In that case, the athletes of the federation would stay maximum one week without an ice rink.

On 15.12.2009 Athens Ice Sport Centre S.A. sends its offer, with strict conditions for the H.I.S.F. and its athletes, in order to be approved by the H.I.S.F. On Friday 18.12.2009, one day before the inauguration of the Athens Heart Ice Rink, Mr. Chatziathanassiou calls some of the members of the H.I.S.F. council in order to discuss the offer of the Athens Ice Sports Centre S.A., without bearing in mind that the private enterprise had already used the equipment of the H.I.S.F. and Peace and Friendship Stadium. But there was no quorum at this meeting and for that reason it had to be repeated, according to the sports laws. Mr. Chatziathanassiou was hopping that he would be able to collect the signatures from the missing members after the meeting, something that is a common tactic for him.

On the other hand, the missing members of the HISF council at the meeting on 18.12.2009 realized that Mr. Chatziathanassiou was only taking after his personal benefits through his private enterprise and he showed no interest for the World Ice Hockey Championships. The other members had already denounced on 13.10.2009 the selfish and illegal actions of HISF’s president to  the Minister of Culture Mr. Geroulanos, the Secretary General of Sports and the Court Council of the General Secretariat of Sports, and they had  brought the same subjects on May 2009, at the Board of H.I.S.F. and  later on the Board Organizing Committee of the World Cup, that H.I.S.F. should go directly to the start of works (from 12/1/2009) at the closed Olympic Stadium in Ano Liossia wrestling with each other, contrary to the purpose-operation Bureau of HISF., the actions of Chatziathanassiou was not lawful, otherwise as a result would be to the detriment of athletes in general all of the ice in the country, and in particular the National Team of Ice Hockey, which should at any costs to prepare for the World Championships in order to achieve the dual objective which was: a) to take the lead within her own country and b) rise category.

On Monday 21. December 2009 when the athletic leadership did nothing and was completely indifferent to the problems and corruption at the sports of ice skating, 16 members of HISF disgusted the illegal actions of Chatziathanassiou, and they made known to the Minister of Culture, the Secretary General of Sport, the Court Council of the General Secretariat of Sports and HISF theirwithdrawal, leaving behind HISF with 10 registered clubs. At the same time they gave an additional complaint against Chatziathanassiou to  the Minister of Culture, the General Secretary of Sports and the Court Council of the General Secretariat of Sports. From this day the Board of the Federation was demolished, and H.I.S.F. does not satisfy any condition to function as a legal sports federation.

Even he was warned as early as May 2009, Chatziathanassiou did not expect something like that to happen. He  phones to all the people, threatening, swearing, and terrorizing the world, firing by telephone all the staff, something that would normally be decided by the Board and not by himself alone, and since the Board was demolished, the process was not legal, he changed locks both to the Federation and the office of the co-located Ice Skating Center of Athens SA, he repealed  every legal and democratic principle of operation of the Federation, and began to do what he does best of all... hiding his self behind his finger and braying like a donkey and slander-blushing-unknowingly Always in the absence of all moral integers people who dared to come out and say just the truth, always based on data and official documents.
